10 Ways to Streamline Social Media Posting

February 1, 2018

Social Media can be overwhelming.  Everyone has a different way, everyone seems to be everywhere.  So what should you do?  Where should you be?  How are you supposed to do it all and still take care of life?

I have this little checklist that can help your overwhelm feel a lot more like whelm.

Print it off, or come back and refer to it, just keep yourself in check, and you'll be making a lot more impact with strategic action, which is SO much better than just being "busy".

Here we go!

  • I am using widgets and plugins to update and automate my social sharing and contact

  • I have updated my social share buttons to reflect current trends and provide maximum engagement

  • I have considered or implemented on my website or blog:

    • Graphics automation, such as gallery plugins for my Instagram feed

    • Feed automation widgets to display feed from networks such as Twitter or Facebook

  • I am/have considered using a testimonials widget displaying testimonials from my social feeds

  • For social content creation, I am:

    • Writing it all myself

    • Using pre-made packages

    • Curating it

    • Outsourcing it

  • I have studied top influencer or best-selling author website social automation tactics for ideas

  • I am thinking seasonally—in advance—when planning my social media automization schedule

  • I am creating/outsourcing seasonal graphics for social media well in advance, including seasonal:

    • Cover photos

    • Profile photos

    • Image quotes

    • Inspirational graphics

    • Recipe illustrations and other season-specific graphics

    • I am connecting season pre-scheduled posts with my focus and audience, when creating them for pre-scheduling

  • I am paying attention to timing:

    • With my seasonal posts

    • For my specific audience and their seasonal habits

  • I am seriously exploring outsourcing social tasks and content creation

  • I am aware that nothing can replace my personal interaction in social media

  • I am using social mobile apps

  • I am not taking my autoresponder for granted, and I am keeping up with its latest new capabilities
